These men don't need to have the responsibility of command, just awful.

It's too bad these three men threw their careers away! I hate drunks and druggies. I have them in my family as my step kids who live on the street most of the time on welfare, drunk and druggie often with no high school diploma. These guys were well educated but they need to go to AA.

It is interesting to me TSgt Joe C.
Navy leadership took the rare step of relieving all three members of the command triad for Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Four (NMCB-4), deployed to Okinawa, Japan, after an embarrassing incident in which the NMCB-4 executive officer Lt. Cmdr. Jason Gabbard was reportedly found drunk and naked in the woods.
I understand why Lt. Cmdr. Jason Gabbard was relieved for violating USMC Article 133: Conduct Unbecoming an Officer, most likely.
It is deplorable that NMCB-4 Commanding Officer Cmdr. James Cho and Command Master Chief Jason Holden had attempted to cover the incident up.
It makes perfect sense that they were relived.
Taking care of your fellow unit members does not include covering up crimes and bad judgement.
