There are so many ways to get involved in helping us help Veterans. Suicide, PTSD, unemployment are all such BIG problems it seems hopeless to even try to make them better.
We have a simple philosophy...give them hope, a new mission, a purpose in life and surround them with a community. Suicide is not a disease, its a state of mind. It says, what's the point in going forward. So we don't try to fix them, we try to help them find something that has a point.
Help a person start a new career and they can provide for their family, they can feel important again and they see a future...this is called a purpose. This gives them a point in going forward.
We have numerous aspects to our programs because we aim to help the WHOLE VETERAN.
Our Motto: Restoring Hope and Purpose through practical solutions...Employment - Housing - Health - Community
Please get involved, we need your support, financial donations are great but are not the only way. We need help getting the word spread, getting introductions, making phone calls and sending emails.
We all say 'Thank you for your service' but do you realize service is an action? Would you be willing to do more than lip service to serve them now?

As somebody who has been suicidal over the decades I very familiar with this issues.
