COL Mikel Burroughs good re/share: for the Colonel's Motivational Quotes of the Day. Where the mighty American Bald Eagles roam in the mighty MOUNTAINS OF CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO AMONG THEIR EAGLES-NEST. I know the view must be MAGNIFICENT on this day May 16, 2021 as you might glance upon the mighty snow capped mountains headed into the month of December. As you know I would respond a lot throughout the week, but I am a HEART A TRANSPLANT SURVIVOR;;It is good to have some time on the weekend before I start my running around to respond my friend around the house.

Today's message is Maintenance Day why not. I needed a NEW HEART, MAINTENANCE WAS THE KEY, THANK GOD, JESUS AND THE HOLY GHOST. THANKS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS TO OUR LORD IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH.

Excellent message from somebody who knows all well what that MEME is about SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL - thank you my friend...

“Leader and personal maintenance of yourself is so important these days, especially if you want to keep going without health and mind delays. You have to maintain the self-awareness, rest and sleep, exercise, and eating healthy – Its’ called ‘personal maintenance’ and that leads me to this quote…

‘Life is constant MAINTENANCE.” - Unknown Author

May you always take the time to perform self-care and personal maintenance; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy.

I hope you understand that focusing on yourself is myopic and selfish. God designed the soul of each human being in HIS image – which is why we are social creatures who gain strength and health by interacting with others. I expect you realize that selfless love for others is God’s deign for us to demonstrate love for HIM. No doubt you are aware of the greatest commandment “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.' [Matthew 22:37-40 ESV] my brother-in-Christ SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.

I pray for discernment, eyes to see what YOU know we need to see, and ears to hear YOU for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or hears it. LORD I pray that YOU convict the foolish people who support the misnamed Word of Faith televangelists. Far too many people believe that the Word YOU spoke through Isaiah 53 is focused on physical healing primarily. YOU make it crystal clear that the primary focus is on healing us from sin. By YOUR grace as YOU regenerate our heart/soul we are justified by YOU from all judgement from sin. ‘Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors. [Isaiah 53:10 -12 ESV]
LORD I pray that YOU cleanse each of us through YOUR perfect light and love. Help us each to demonstrate love to those we interact with. "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." [1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV]
I lift the disabled veterans, disabled police and security agents, widows, widowers, hospitalized individuals, and those in hospice care to YOU tonight dear LORD. I pray that You bless each with a peaceful night and trustworthy and loving individuals caring for each one. ''Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. … “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.' [Romans 13:7-8 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Sunday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Monday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. All things and all people need maintenance to keep working and that includes ourselves (mental, physical and spriritual) and our relationships. You cannot put things into action and expect they will keep going without maintance and fine tuning. Too many people take it all for granted until it isn't working anymore. Often it can be fixed but it is much more difficult, time consuming and expensive to do later when some maintenance would have sorted things out at a much better point.

Good “Sunday!” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from the partly cloudy skies of the Greater Boston /area... My wife and I just returned from one of our Grandson's Basketball games and it was so good to see him and my daughter, Karen and her husband, since we have not see them since before Christmas...

Today is: “Maintenance Day!” Why Not!!!

MY PERSONAL QUOTE MESSAGE:
"We all need maintenance from time to time to keep our bodies and minds healthy and since this Pandemic, we need it more than any time I can remember with the exception of 9/11/2001." - Kerry F. Harkins - May 16, 2021

"My mom said the only reason men are alive is for lawn care and vehicle maintenance." - Tim Allen

"Political freedom...is a necessary condition for the long-term maintenance of economic freedom." - Milton Friedman

"Quoting behavior encourages the maintenance of traditional values by pointing out to individuals in usually non-threatening ways that they have strayed from these values." - Joyce Penfield

"Another flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance." - Kurt Vonnegut

"Tension happens. It will continue to happen. If we didn't have tension, we wouldn't be alive. How we maintenance ourselves makes all the difference in how we live our lives." - Tara Stiles

"When we care for ourselves as our very own beloved—with naps, healthy food, clean sheets, a lovely cup of tea—we can begin to give in wildly generous ways to the world, from abundance." —Anne Lamott, author

“You can’t really be present for the people in your life if you aren’t taking care of yourself.” —Kerry Washington

Remember long and well my Brothers and Sisters that...

"Effective leaders know when to perform personal maintenance on themselves through self-awareness, rest and sleep and self-care. They make time for health and well-being!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Ya' I think I get what you mean:
Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. Many of us who call ourselves entrepreneurs and small business owners are arrogant. It certainly takes confidence to be successful in business but you must always remember from whom all blessings flow. God has given you the talent and ability to make money, and that should keep you humble.
