Perhaps the NFL should watch this movie, then decide how to proceed.
If you saw General Kelly's comments about the President's comments after the Ambush in Niger, he mentioned "Taking Chance" - a movie about Lance Corporal Chance Phelps' final trip home.
I had seen parts of it before, but it is hard for me to watch, if you have dealt with combat casualties in theater.
Nevertheless, my wife and I watched it this weekend - still hard to watch - but, certainly worth it. When it was over my wife commented about her frustration with the kneeling at the National Anthem.
She said they have no idea what our flag means, and how insulting their actions are. Interesting.
She also told me about how, whenever I was gone, that this was her biggest fear... someone coming to the door early in the morning.... especially when she had not had contact with me for a few days. It is amazing, how disconnected most American's are from us, and those like us.

This is a gripping dramatization of an event which occurs all too often.
Once in my life I performed casualty officer duties to notify a young widow with a young child that her husband had died on duty.

I am done with the NFL. This movie was and is hard for me COL Mikel J. Burroughs as I have never been on this side of the casualty process during combat operations. Unfortunately, I have been on the other side too many times.
