O'Biden doesn't care about Americans probably even less for Canadians. Perhaps as more states in this nation start yelling, and perhaps efforts by Canada, the urgent administration will undo this very stupid idea of shutting down the pipelines construction

Thank you my friend LTC (Join to see) for making us aware that 'Governor Gretchen Whitmer of the State of Michigan gave the order to shut down the Enbridge Line 5 pipeline;
The closure of Enbridge Line 5 would have a devastating effect on the financial well being of the locality of Sarnia-Lambton and the tens of thousands of skilled tradespeople and employees of several local refineries and supporting industries and businesses;
The closure of Enbridge Line 5 would also have a wide-ranging ripple effect throughout the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, including the disruption of fuel supply to major airports and transportation hubs, such as Toronto's Pearson Airport, which receives fuel from Enbridge Line 5; and
Without Enbridge Line 5, a massive portion of the Canadian Industry will be wiped out overnight.'

LTC (Join to see) I’m from Michigan and had no idea abt this matter but found an article which explained why Gov Whitmer did this. If this is a matter of Enbridge contributing to oil leaks in our Great Lakes, that is bad.

(From Article) “The state claimed Enbridge repeatedly violated the 1953 Easement allowing the company to operate dual pipelines in the Straits of Mackinac to transport petroleum and other products. Whitmer also argued operating dual pipelines interferes with Michigan's "solemn duty" to protect the Great Lakes under the public trust doctrine. Gov. Whitmer said, “Here in Michigan, the Great Lakes define our borders, but they also define who we are as people. Enbridge has repeatedly refused to take action to protect our Great Lakes and the millions of Americans who depend on them for clean drinking water and good jobs...Most importantly, Enbridge has imposed on the people of Michigan an unacceptable risk of a catastrophic oil spill in the Great Lakes that could devastate our economy and our way of life.’
