Considering it's size, imagine it's gravitational effects on the earth. In our current political environment, any abnormal weather patterns, tidal surges, earthquakes or volcanos will still be blamed on man.

Cpl (Join to see) - It's gravitational effect on Earth will be negligible. It's only getting as close as Saturn and it's relative mass as compared to Earth is very low. Gravitational effect moves at the speed of light and just as light diminishes by the inverse square of the distance, so does the influence of gravity. The ISS probably exerts more influence on Earth in LEO than that comet will as it turns the corner at Saturn...

As it gets closer to us it will be quite the celestial event! Astronomers are calling it a minor planet that’s about to make its closest pass to the Sun on its 600,000-year orbit. However, I believe that it will be more like an asteroid as more is learned about it...
