Herb Alpert and the TiJuana Brass were one of the coolest cats on the scene back in the mid-late 1960's! Yikes that was a long time ago! But, you know, there's just something about this sound that is absolutely irresistible. It's accessible, yet cosmopolitan, sophisticated, yet straight-ahead, universally popular, yet absolutely legitimate. It just never gets out of your head, your heart, or your soul. I still love it!

"Herb Alpert (born March 31, 1935) is an American trumpeter who led Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass in the 1960s. During the same decade, he co-founded A&M Records with Jerry Moss.
