Thank you my USAF warplane advocate friend Sgt (Join to see) for posting the documentary video focused on the B-52 Stratofortress - my favorite B-52 movie is Dr Strangelove or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb

Great video. Having begun my flying career and gone to war in the B-52 I have a long lasting love for this aircraft despite the fact that I moved on to other aircraft. I chuckle a bit at the description of gigantic compared to aircraft of today, but I suppose that when it was designed that term applied. Although it is a big aircraft that concept did not carry over to the crew compartment that is extremely cramped. The aircraft was designed to carry the nuclear weapons of its time which were huge, as I recall we could only carry 2 B-41 or B-53 weapons in the huge bomb bay, and lots of fuel to give it range. It's a workhorse for sure!
