Good morning Col Burroughs. Fun topic. Rocket Science has come to stand for anything that is outside the reach of the average person. So many things we find difficult are not that hard; we make them much more complicated than they need to be. Leadership, relationships, personal connections. Put your best self and best effort into it and you are likely to be successful.

Rocket Science is an interesting focus. Of course, as usual you have used Rocket science in jest. :-)
1. I am focused on being a servant leader of my family and those who look up to me for guidance.

2. Leadership may not require rocket science, yet the led do not suffer fools, self-promoting, or otherwise corrupted leaders well - AKA Niedermeyer in Animal House :-)

3. The better leaders lead from the front, are humble, noble, and trustworthy; they demonstrate wisdom and knowledge and impart what they know to subordinate, peers, and superiors while learning from their subordinates.

4. Those of us who have engineering degrees have been trained in rocket science to varying degrees.
5. As a USMA, West Point cadet (1976-1980] I was trained in many things including the fundamentals of rocket science in preparation to a leader of soldiers.
6. In the inter-war years and during, WWII, the Germans used rocket scientists to develop the V-1 and V-2 rockets, the HW-163 Komet rocket propelled fighter aircraft.
7. Rocket science was postulated by Leonardo da Vinci. The scientists in later centuries who developed mechanics [Newton], calculus [Newton]; thermodynamics [newton]; Einstein, Julius Robert Oppenheimer, and Enrico Fermi were each involved in rocket science.

Hopefully each one of us are increasingly focused on serving others -especially those we are responsible for to society and to the LORD. I expect your integrity, humility, and truthfulness is demonstrated selflessly by you whether anybody is looking or nobody at all. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.' [Proverbs 11:3 ESV]
Thank you, LORD for YOUR foundation of the Rock of Christ. Holy Spirit I am grateful for the sanctification of the soul of each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters. YOU work all to good for us corporately as well as individually in YOUR perfect timing. I expect each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who is alert to YOU is content and hopeful. ‘Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I pray that we each are attuned to YOUR prompting, Holy Spirit. I pray LORD for wisdom and eyes to see for each of us. Thankfully, LORD YOU store YOUR Word in our soul and YOU enable us to be aware of YOUR Word exactly when we or those with us need to see YOUR Word demonstrated in love. Guide each one of us to encourage those fearful dear God. ‘When my heart is overwhelmed ,lead me to the rock that is higher than I' [Psalm 61:2 ESV]
