Valerie Plame On 'Scooter' Libby Pardon

No surprise that outed high profile "agent" Valerie Plame was outed long ago and bemoans the fact that President Donald Trump granted a Presidential pardon to Lewis "Scooter" Libby who was convicted in 2007 and [update] lost his license as an attorney until 2016 when it was restored.

I had to roll my eyes at her self-serving comments "demonstrate that you can spill the beans, you can cooperate with the special prosecutor, perhaps be convicted - if you're convicted of lying, perjury, obstruction of justice, or otherwise - and you will still get a pardon in the end."

After all, former POTUS Obama commutied the prison sentence of Peyton nee Chelsea Manning, the former Army intelligence analyst who leaked classified documents.

The outing of Valerie Plame risked no lives but her heavily-guarded life. The actions of Peyton Manning risked lives of many, sadly.

I am thankful that my friends who are agents are deep cover and didn't attract attention to themselves.
