Sgt John H. Around 2001 the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation helped to restore the elk to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I love hearing them bugle during the mating season in Cataloochee Valley. They are relatively safe there to do their own thing. Magnificent animals. Thanks for the photo.
