Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "1901 Photograph: The Orion Nebula." I don't know about you, but it boggles my mind to contemplate where we've traveled in the astro-sciences over the last century. Today's APOD speaks for itself...from glass plates to digital images. And the glass plates are still useful in current research. I wonder where the next 100 years will take us?

Good Saturday Morning Maj William W. 'Bill' Price ... I'll respond after my shower... LOL! Shower's over, but it has been a busy day and I am just getting caught up with everything I have missed on RP!
Awesome image from the year 1901 of The Orion Nebula! I can only imagine where we will be in another 100 years, but my guess is that we will find that WORM holes will be commonplace as will travel to all of our solar system planets and moons, and will probably succeed in light speed travel and perhaps be on the cusp of speeds faster than light speed! That is, of course, if our human civilization doesn't destroy itself between now and then...
