Thank you my friend and sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown for posting our friend, former RallyPoint member emeritus, and brother-in-Christ Colonel Mikel Burroughs VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day for Saturday, January 7, 2022. It seems that you and our brother-in-Christ Sgt (Join to see) are in the relay race handing off the baton to keep the flow of Col Mikel's motivational posts on RallyPoint.
Topic: Pace Day
Pace and gait are synonymous. As a former infantry officer my pace is pretty fast. I needed to slow down by pace for my darling wife. By God's grace, I have learned to slow my pace when walking with my darling wife.
1. When I was a leader of soldiers and DA civilians, [1981-2000, 2004-2007], I did my best to set an honorable standard as I led by example. I tried to set clear goals and objectives for those I led to improve individually and at team members.
2. Even while walking with my cane to maintain balance, I still walk fairly quickly - although with a somewhat awkward gait. Result of issues with neurotransmitters in my feet and legs.
3. The biggest and most profound step we can take is to embrace the LORD and trust in HIM in all areas of our life. HIS pace is perfect and he guides each of HIS own.

I have no doubt that you are a wonderful example to those who rely on you for leadership, advice, friendship and love. I expect your ability to be calm in stressful situations is a blessing. Your ability to be aware of the status of each person who looks up to you, enables you to set the pace for them individually as well as a work team, family or other group. I expect that your resilience in the face of unexpected trials and testing has grown significantly since your personal salvation. No doubt your ability to help others to calm down and remain calm in stressful circumstances has paid dividends for time and eternity. Hopefully your relationship with family and friends will continue to blossom and bear abiding fruit for time and eternity. ‘I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified to your truth, as indeed you are walking in the truth.’ [3 John 1:2-3 ESV] my brother-in-Christ Maj Robert Thornton .
I pray for eyes to see what we need to see and ears to hear YOU Holy Spirit and sufficient endurance, self-control, sense of purpose and desire for justice for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or listens to it dear LORD. Strengthen our resolve to persevere with grace and demonstrate YOUR love to each person we interact with. ‘Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. [1 Corinthians 9:25-27 ESV]
The soul of each adopted child of God, vibrates in accordance with the plan God has for our life, sanctification purifies the tones of the vibration to reflect the perfect image of God. I pray that the LORD blesses each of us with clarity of focus on what our priority of effort, talents and resources needs to be in our daily walk of faith. YOU alone know what the future holds for each of in this life. Thank YOU for sanctifying the soul of each of us as YOU prepare us to face future challenges and trials. ‘Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.’ [Proverbs 19:21 ESV]
I lift the homeless, the severely disabled, those suffering from PTSD, those suffering from insomnia, the suicidal and depressed to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU bless each member of these groups with a safe place to sleep tonight and a large dose of hope to last throughout the night and into the coming weeks. ‘'They make much of you, but for no good purpose. They want to shut you out, that you may make much of them. It is always good to be made much of for a good purpose, and not only when I am present with you, my little children, for whom I am again in the anguish of childbirth until Christ is formed in you! I wish I could be present with you now and change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.’ [Galatians 4:17-20 ESV]
As far as the short term-future of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the members of the radical squad and their allies, henchmen and henchwomen. I pray that YOU cause the Squad and their radical allies to be confused and angry with each other and reduce their effectiveness. I have no doubt that you are a wonderful example to those who rely on you for leadership, advice, friendship and love. I expect your ability to be calm in stressful situations is a blessing. Your ability to be aware of the status of each person who looks up to you, enables you to set the pace for them individually as well as a work team, family or other group. I expect that your resilience in the face of unexpected trials and testing has grown significantly since your personal salvation. No doubt your ability to help others to calm down and remain calm in stressful circumstances has paid dividends for time and eternity. Hopefully your relationship with family and friends will continue to blossom and bear abiding fruit for time and eternity. ‘I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. I pray for eyes to see what we need to see and ears to hear YOU Holy Spirit and sufficient endurance, self-control, sense of purpose and desire for justice for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or listens to it dear LORD. Strengthen our resolve to persevere with grace and demonstrate YOUR love to each person we interact with. ‘Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. [1 Corinthians 9:25-27 ESV]
The soul of each adopted child of God, vibrates in accordance with the plan God has for our life, sanctification purifies the tones of the vibration to reflect the perfect image of God. I pray that the LORD blesses each of us with clarity of focus on what our priority of effort, talents and resources needs to be in our daily walk of faith. YOU alone know what the future holds for each of in this life. Thank YOU for sanctifying the soul of each of us as YOU prepare us to face future challenges and trials. ‘Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.’ [Proverbs 19:21 ESV]
I lift the homeless, the severely disabled, those suffering from PTSD, those suffering from insomnia, the suicidal and depressed to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU bless each member of these groups with a safe place to sleep tonight and a large dose of hope to last throughout the night and into the coming weeks. ‘'They make much of you, but for no good purpose. They want to shut you out, that you may make much of them. It is always good to be made much of for a good purpose, and not only when I am present with you, my little children, for whom I am again in the anguish of childbirth until Christ is formed in you! I wish I could be present with you now and change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.’ [Galatians 4:17-20 ESV]
As far as the short term-future of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the members of the radical squad and their allies, henchmen and henchwomen. I pray that YOU cause the Squad and their radical allies to be confused and angry with each other and reduce their effectiveness. 'Indeed, the light of the wicked is put out, and the flame of his fire does not shine. The light is dark in his tent, and his lamp above him is put out. His strong steps are shortened, and his own schemes throw him down. For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walks on its mesh. A trap seizes him by the heel; a snare lays hold of him. A rope is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him in the path. Terrors frighten him on every side, and chase him at his heels. His strength is famished, and calamity is ready for his stumbling.'
