Thank you my friend SGT (Join to see) for posting the music video of the Beatles performing Yesterday with a 'spoken word intro' live at Studio 50, New York City / 1965 in honor of the fact that on June 17, 1965 - working at Abbey Road studios in London, The Beatles completed work on the new Paul McCartney song 'Yesterday' with the overdubbing of an additional vocal track by McCartney and a string quartet.

"Yesterday" written by Paul James McCartney and John Winston Lennon
Lyrics
"Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away.
Now it looks as though they're here to stay.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be.
There's a shadow hanging over me.
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Why she had to go?
I don't know, she wouldn't say.
I said something wrong.
Now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday love was such an easy game to play.
Now I need a place to hide away.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Why she had to go?
I don't know, she wouldn't say.
I said something wrong.
Now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday love was such an easy game to play.
Now I need a place to hide away.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm."

Once classic Beatles ballad inspires me to post a few more.

I have heard that it is the most recorded song done by other artists.

SGT (Join to see) I can believe that plus all the instrumental versions. I remember the Boston Pops doing it back when John Williams was their conductor.
