Its about making people equal, not lifting anyone up, because in the end, everyone will have the same miserable health care, and all the other problems that are coming. When you looked at East and West Germany when I was there, West Germany thrived, East Germany promised everyone a place to live, food, heat, health care, and could not produce anything, because when there is no incentive to work, why do it. Its what we are turning into fast, Pay rates are up about 60% the past 3 years, inflation is insane, how it gets ignored is beyond me. My material costs to do an AC replacement are up about 40% the past 12 months. Groceries are through the roof, gas is up 60% since last summer. Yet people somehow can still refuse to work, and when they get hired, care little about productivity. We are like Rome the last 100 years at this point. Everyone thinks the country will last forever, as its foundation crumbles beneath it.
