To be honest I am focused on inspiring others at this point in my life.
1. By God's grace I am equally yoked to my darling wife who is my sister-in-Christ and the love of my life.
2. Every human being shares much in common with many and yet we are unique in our experiences; hopes, dreams, and fears; rewards and punishments; and growth in maturity.
3. I have long focused on what is unique to me [or so I thought] embodied in Duty, Honor, Country from my alma mater, USMA, West Point.
4. Long ago I learned to appreciate the unique to human capability to learn vicariously by reading.
a. By God's grace the Bible is the source of knowledge and wisdom.
b. We can learn about the apparent successes and failures of Biblical figures. Since the Word of God is living, the lessons in scripture have application to each generation including our own

YOU desire us to fully trust YOU and YOU bless each of us who place our full trust in you. LORD, I pray that YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are elected or appointed officials understand their purpose implicitly. lift each deployed service member missing in action and their family members to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU bless the family members of MIA with a large measure of peace and joy as they wait for news about their MIA loved one and closure. Enable them to lean on YOU as they grieve while waiting for a knock on the door. I pray that YOU guide those searching for remains to remains of MIA to find, identify and recover the remains and effects in YOUR perfect timing. ‘Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.’ [Romans 12:15-16 ESV]
LORD, I lift up the most vulnerable in society to YOU including preborn children, disabled children especially those labeled as autistic and the ministries which help these people and those who care for them. including pregnant mothers-to-be. I pray that YOU motivate compassionate counselors with patience to listen and hear to speak respectfully to the pregnant women and girls. Help them to understand the value of human life and to place their trust in YOU. 'For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I pray they demonstrate love across the aisle to their fellow brothers and sister-in-Christ. Let YOUR light shine on fellowship and inspire others to be respectful to those they disagree with. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. [Mathew 5:16 ESV]
lift each deployed service member missing in action and their family members to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU bless the family members of MIA with a large measure of peace and joy as they wait for news about their MIA loved one and closure. Enable them to lean on YOU as they grieve while waiting for a knock on the door. I pray that YOU guide those searching for remains to remains of MIA to find, identify and recover the remains and effects in YOUR perfect timing. ‘Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.’ [Romans 12:15-16 ESV]
LORD, I lift up the most vulnerable in society to YOU including preborn children, disabled children especially those labeled as autistic and the ministries which help these people and those who care for them. including pregnant mothers-to-be. I pray that YOU motivate compassionate counselors with patience to listen and hear to speak respectfully to the pregnant women and girls. Help them to understand the value of human life and to place their trust in YOU. 'For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
